Charlie's Journey is happy to present the STEM/Exploring the Arts pilot program for youth ages 6-17 on the autism spectrum.  During this program, your child will have the opportunity to wear multiple hats and creatively engage in the field of computer science, literacy and the arts! At the end of the full 24-week program, parents can expect the following: Video game (created by your child from scratch) Lego animation movie (produced by your child) Book (authored by your child) Weekly art projects Peer mentorship Personal and professional growth Certificates of completion for each 6-week milestone completed …and much more! Join us for the inaugural Sisters In Business Summit! Women of color are the fastest growing demographic of entrepreneurs. Despite being the fastest growing demographic they lack access to resources to help them grow and sustain their businesses. Sisters In Business Summit is a space to empower, inspire, and highlight women of color who are trailblazer in business overcoming barriers. The sisters in business summit and pitch competition is dedicated to providing a unique cultural experience that gives women of color business owners and aspiring entrepreneurs access to resources and information. This will be done through a context that highlights our experiences and provides insights on ways to overcome barriers to thrive as successful business women.   Attendees will have the opportunity to attend sessions where they will hear from experts in the field and apply to pitch their business for a cash prize. This will be an unapologetic space intentionally uplifting the experiences of women of color. Ways To Get Involved There are several ways to get involved with the Sisters In Business Summit and Pitch Competition. Lead A Workshop: Sisters In Business is committed to providing a platform to elevate women in our community. We have provided 3 workshop spaces. If you are an expert in your field and have a message to share, please consider submitting a workshop proposal.
