The Open House is a chance for the community to meet staff, including Rebecca Long, agriculture and food systems professional and Tayla Mann, administrative specialist, who both joined the office this summer. In addition to learning about programs and services the office offers, there will be activities for kids and adults including a canning demonstration, pumpkin painting, fall treats and more. Kati McDermott, a FoodCorps member serving for a second year at a local school, will offer a taste test of fall produce. The event is free and open to the public.
