Residential Lomi Lomi Retreat September 2-8 2019 Camp Mokuleia North Shore, Oahu Hawaii 40 NCBTMB CE hours Gain a deeper understanding of the potential for healing, growth and transformation that the Hawaiian teachings offer.  In this immersion workshop you will learn and practice the ancient art of Hawaiian Lomi Lomi Massage supported and nurtured in a lush tropical rainforest.Enjoy 6 nights shared lodging and 40 hours bodywork training, delicious food, field trips and relaxation on Oahu. You Will Learn: -The history and philosophy surrounding this work. - Breath and movement exercises to activate your energy potential. - Basic and advanced Lomi Lomi massage techniques including a full body routine with stretching and range of motion techniques. - Self-Lomi for honoring and maintaining your own body. Most importantly you will gain powerful new tools to add to your healing practice in a safe, fun and nurturing environment with cultural activities and field trips to natural wonders.  Courses are kept small to ensure maximum individual attention to each student. This course is only for trained massage professionals and is not suitable for someone without prior training.   This workshop covers a great deal of hands on technique and is designed as continuing education for professional massage therapists.  It is not open to students without prior training in massage and anatomy, allowing professional therapists to get the most out of your continuing education investment.  Passing students earn a certificate for 40 NCBTMB CE hours, 20 CPD points with the UK’s CThA and Australia’s AAMT and hours are recognized by the Massage Therapists Association of Sasketchewan 35 base hours and 1 business hour in Canada and Massage New Zealand. The hours do not count toward the state of Hawaii basic 570 hour requirement for licensing. Price includes meals, accommodations, excursions and 40 hours of training.  Kama'aina and commuter rate does not include accommodations or meals except lunch daily.  Airfare and ground transportation to/from Camp Mokuleia is not included.  Course runs from 4pm September 2 2019 with check out by 11am Septmber 8 2019. Your space is not considered filled unless you fill it with someone or the class reaches capacity then the 12th person would be taking your spot.  Not the next person to sign up after you drop out.    50% of tuition is due by June 1 2019.  Full tuition due by August 1 2019. Cancellations more than 90 days prior to start of class (before June 2 2019) will get a refund of tuition paid minus the $500 non refundable deposit.   Cancellations less than 90 days (after June 2 2019) or no shows will be charged in full and may recieve a partial credit toward a future class depending on the circumstances. For example a medical emergency or death in the family is a credit worthy excuse, proof is required to get credit. Come kokua, we will be removing rubbish from the grassy area & pallet bonfire debris from the shoreline. Keiki Welcome! MEET WHERE: Drive towards Kaena Point, we’ll park directly across from Dillingham Airfield. We’ll be on the side of the road with bright orange shirts, truck, & buckets. Keep going until you see us! Please bring: Resuable water bottle, sunscreen, and personal cleanup supplies (gloves, bucket, etc) if you have them. We will also provide additional trash bags, gloves, magnets, etc. Cleanup on the beach will begin at 9:00 and end at 11:00. The remaining time will be alotted towards packing up and transport the rubbish back to the trash area in the parking lot. Feel free to bring your snorkel gear & jump in the water after as long as waves are mellow.
