Join United Way's Young Leaders Society (YLS) for our Fall Leadership Series! This Leadership Series event features guest speaker Trudi Carey, the president of The Carey Group, Inc. Trudi is a licensed architect, general contractor, and real estate broker. She graduated from the School of Architecture and Environmental Design at California Polytechnic State University at San Luis Obispo with highest honors and previously served on the department’s advisory board. Ms. Carey is currently a board member of the Scholarship Foundation of Santa Barbara and serves on the Professional Standards committee. In addition, she is a mediator for the Santa Barbara Board of Realtors and is a past director of publicly-traded Midstate Bank and Trust, acquired by Rabobank. Currently she serves on Rabobank’s advisory board for Santa Barbara and Ventura County.  Tickets are $5 for YLS members and $15 for non-members. Tickets include food and drinks. Vegetarian options will be available. Event starts at 6:00pm, program begins at 6:30pm. All are welcome to attend (YLS membership is not required).
