The Asheville Community Band is pleased to announce our Annual Holiday concert: “Sounds of the Season!” Our next concert theme is centered around the celebration of our holiday season. Highlights will include “A Chanukah Celebration,” Alfred Reed’s “A Christmas Celebration (of Songs and Carols),” and “A Canadian Brass Christmas Suite.” Additionally, the band will play music that fits the “sounds of the season” theme of the concert but are not necessarily holiday standards, including Georges Bizet’s “Farandole” and Morten Lauridsen’s “O Magnum Mysterium.” The concert will also include themed movie music from “Home Alone.” So parents, don’t leave your kids home alone, but instead come together to experience your local community band in action!
